NEW INDICATION & DOSAGE
To stop bleeding from accessible capillaries and small venules, and for control of bleeding when standard surgical techniques are ineffective or impractical; may be used with absorbable gelatin--
Adults and children: Don't inject; topically flood the area of bleeding with the thrombin solution; amount needed depends on the site and bleeding volume, up to 10 ml may be needed. Thaw preparation according to package insert. Solution may be drawn into a syringe and then the syringe used to flood the area.
