NEW INDICATION & DOSAGE
Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and healing of erosive esophagitis in children ages 1 to 11 years--
Children ages 1 to 11 years: For short-term treatment of symptomatic GERD--10 mg/day P.O. for up to 8 weeks; for healing of erosive esophagitis--in children weighing less than 20 kg (44 lb), 10 mg/day P.O. for up to 8 weeks; in children weighing 20 kg or more, 10 to 20 mg/day P.O. for up to 8 weeks.
