AVAILABLE FORMS
Intracoronary stent system: 84, 90, 120, 144, 150, 180, 240, 300 mcg

INDICATIONS AND DOSAGES
To improve coronary luminal diameter in patients with ischemic heart disease caused by lesions of < 27 mm in native coronary arteries using a coronary stent which slowly eludes the drug into the coronary vessel; inhibits smooth cell and endothelial cell growth slowing restenosis--
Adults: Coronary stent placed in coronary artery with lesions; dosage based on size of vessel.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND CAUTIONS
Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to this drug, to cobalt-based alloys, or to phosphorylcholine polymers; in patients who can’t receive antiplatelet or anticoagulation therapy; and in patients with lesions that would prevent proper placement of the stent.
   Use with caution in pregnant or breast-feeding patients.

INTERACTIONS
Drug-drug. CYP3A4 inhibitors (ketoconazole): May increase zotarolimus levels. Use together cautiously.
Sirolimus: May interfere with effectiveness of zotarolimus. Use together cautiously
Systemic immunosuppressive therapy: May alter effectiveness. Monitor patient.

ADVERSE REACTIONS
CNS: headache, pain.
GI: abdominal pain, diarrhea.
GU: hematuria.
Skin: dry skin, rash.
Other: injection site reaction.

Reactions may be common, uncommon, life-threatening, or
COMMON AND LIFE-THREATENING.
